Loudness is considered as the first Japanese band to have got really known outside of Japan and on a worldwide scale.

Founded in 1981 and still active today, Loudness is a heavy metal band.

Members :

Akira TAKASAKI (guitar)
Minoru NIIHARA (vocals)
Masayoshi YAMASHITA (bass)
Munetaka Higuchi (drums)

Guitar compositions are amazing and perfectly arranged.
Drums also have a percussive sound.
Minoru's timber of voice reminds of YAMA-B's (Galneryus), with a little touch of hysteria.

This band may even have inspired X Japan.

I love them:P they are one of the first japanese band I heard!
"Long distance love" is by now my favourite song

It's too... How could I say... It's too eightiesish actually. I really appreciate this band but woh. Only for a couple of songs, until I come to think that I would wear pink shirts and have wild long hair! (wish I could anyway)
